The eight built-in personas

Nervous First-Timer — cautious, asks many clarifying questions, afraid of commitment
Confused Grandma — scattered, mixes up details, forgets what was said
Eager Buyer — enthusiastic, never quite ready to close
Skeptical CFO — demands documentation, audits, references
Chatty Oversharer — derails every thread into personal stories
Technically-Minded — asks deep technical questions about logistics
Bureaucratic Middle Manager — needs approvals, forms, committee reviews
Helpful Assistant — forwards, cc's, never has authority to decide

Which one to pick

Free tier gets three basic personas. Starter and above get all eight. Power tier can define a custom persona with a written backstory and style sheet.

As a rule of thumb: the less authority the persona has, the longer the thread runs. "I need to check with my manager" is an infinite resource.

Per-conversation override

You can change the persona on any live conversation at any time. Handy when a thread stalls — switching to a different personality often restarts the engagement.
