Billing Basics

Limits, proration, annual discount, invoices.

What you get per tier

See the pricing page for the full breakdown. In short:

  • Free — 1 inbox, 3 conversations/mo, 25 emails
  • Starter ($5/mo) — 1 inbox, 25 conversations, 250 emails, all personas
  • Pro ($10/mo) — 3 inboxes, 100 conversations, 1000 emails, 1 trap alias
  • Power ($15/mo) — 5 inboxes, unlimited conversations, 5000 emails, 5 trap aliases, API

Upgrades (immediate, prorated)

Upgrade takes effect immediately. Stripe charges the prorated difference for the rest of the current cycle. Your new limits kick in the moment the charge clears.

Downgrades (end of cycle)

Downgrade takes effect on the next billing anniversary. Your current tier's limits stay in force until then. We don't refund the difference — you already paid for the tier.

Hitting limits

  • Conversation limit — new flagged messages are queued but not started. Running conversations continue.
  • Email limit — no new replies send until the next cycle or an upgrade. In-flight replies finish their current thread.
  • We email you when you're at 80% and 100% of either limit.

Annual billing (17% off)

Pay annually and save about two months. Switch from monthly to annual any time at Settings › Billing › Switch to annual. We prorate the balance forward.

Invoices

Stripe sends a receipt for every charge to the email on your account. For formal invoices (VAT, company name, tax ID) email sales@the-stringer.lol.

Payment methods

All major credit and debit cards via Stripe. No ACH or bank transfer at launch. Non-USD cards are charged in USD and converted by your issuer.
